We’re building new garden beds for Washington View Apartments, so the community can have better access to fresh produce, herbs and fruit. We have lots of boxes to fill with wood chips, compost and plants. We’ll also spread the wood chips on the ground as a weed barrier. Want some team building? Or muscle strengthening? This is the activity for you! Bring a group or just yourself. It’s good for you, a great service to the community, and it’s fun to be outside!
Shovels, wheelbarrows and sunshine are all provided. You bring the energy and be prepared to get dirty.
This garden is a project of Building Bridges Across the River, National Housing Trust, Novo Nordisk and powered by The Interrupt.
