We’ll be planting, harvesting and weeding every Thursday. We give away the vegetables, herbs and flowers we pick the next day at Food and Farm Fridays at THEARC. This is a great opportunity to help people living in food apartheid to take home fresh, life-giving vegetables! No experience is necessary–learn to grow your own food while you volunteer.
Hopkins Gardens are in the courtyard of a public apartment complex. Do you live near Capitol Hill? This is the activity for you!
Timing can shift a little week-to-week, so it’s always helpful to ping us before you show to make sure we’ll be ready when you arrive.
