Two men in suits stand closely together, smiling at the camera. One points forward while the other gives a thumbs up. They appear to be indoors in a well-lit room.

Gold Star Feature: Nathan and Noble Jolley, Jr. of Levine School of Music

THEARC

As part of THEARC’s 20th-anniversary celebration, we’re spotlighting alumni from our partners and programs who have gone on to do incredible things.

Twin brothers Nathan and Noble Jolley, Jr. grew up in a household filled with music and excellence. Raised by musician parents in Washington, DC, the Jolley twins found their footing early as students at Levine School of Music at THEARC, where they studied piano and drums and immersed themselves in the foundations of jazz.

At Levine, they discovered not only technical skill but also creative freedom. The school became a launchpad for their lifelong musical partnership—one that would take them from Southeast DC stages to national performances and international acclaim.

As professional musicians and educators, Nathan and Noble have toured the world, led their own jazz ensemble, and played alongside legends. They’ve headlined at the Kennedy Center, released multiple albums, and continue to mentor the next generation of artists through their own work and teaching. Their annual “A Jolley Christmas” show has become a beloved tradition, and their unique blend of jazz, soul, and classical influences sets them apart.
