Join us for AfterDark@THEARC as we celebrate Building Bridges’ 19 years of improving the quality of life for children and adults who reside east of the Anacostia River. Funds raised at this year’s gala will ensure the future of the 11th Street Bridge Park, Washington, D.C.’s first elevated public park. Built on a foundation of equity, community and sustainability, and perched above the Anacostia River, this 7-acre Bridge Park will stitch together long-divided neighborhoods and serves as a national model for inclusive economic development.
