What’s Happening at Skyland Workforce Center

Skyland Workforce Center offers a full calendar of activities to prepare our clients for a wide range of career opportunities. Interested in the construction industry? Sign up for our 8-day Construction Class that provides OSHA 30, CPR and Flagger certification. Looking for a new job? Come to one of our hiring fairs – some of our recent employers were Amazon DPS, DC Central Kitchen, The Meditation Center and Express Professionals. Other events have included hospitality training, a workshop on employment with the federal government, financial literacy education and career coaching.
