We build, convene, and innovate in partnership with communities East of the Anacostia River.
Learn how DC parks are setting a national template for building a more equitable city. This panel will feature the 11th Street Bridge Park’s affordable housing and construction training investments, the Downtown Day Services Center providing services to the homeless population in and around the recently renovated Franklin Park and the Capitol Riverfront park’s work supporting local businesses and building a stronger civic infrastructure in the surrounding neighborhoods. Panelists include: Rachel Hartman, DowntownDC Foundation; Scott Kratz, 11th Street Bridge Park; and Michael Stevens, Capitol Riverfront BID.
