Thank You From Irfana

After an incredible six years at the 11th Street Bridge Park and Building Bridges Across the River, I will be leaving my role as Deputy Director to work as an independent consultant. I hope to take the amazing work we’ve done together and share it with cultural institutions, public spaces and funders across the country.

I want to express my deepest gratitude for the friendships, partnerships and collaborations that have manifested for our team since the beginning of this project. The Ward 8 community — its residents, nonprofit leaders, faith community, artists and our staff — received me with great kindness and care and I am very thankful for your open hearts. I am really proud of the work we have done together, and it has been among one of my greatest honors to learn from you and work alongside you.
