11th Street Bridge Park
Funds raised at this year’s gala will ensure the future of the 11th Street Bridge Park, Washington, D.C.’s first elevated public park
Groundbreaking is scheduled for later this year, and the park is planned to open to the public in early 2027. As of this month, the project has reached $173M out of its $177M goal, including construction costs and equitable development investments in nearby neighborhoods. The Bridge Park’s equitable development work has become a national model for anti-displacement efforts and the team is currently advising similar projects in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, Buffalo, Minneapolis, Toronto and Grand Rapids.
